Dining Room / June 16, 2018 / Corentin Hermine
If you're fortunate enough to enjoy an open-plan dining room and kitchen area, it can be hard to know where one ends and the next begins. Naturally, there is an intrinsic connection between the two different zones, but it never hurts to properly mark out the alternate areas and that's where a fantastic dining table rug comes into play.
Design a dining scheme around your storage requirements. Take advantage of all the space available with floor-to-ceiling shelving. Fit shelves into unused alcoves and use for books and decorative pieces so you won’t need to provide floorstanding shelves or cupboards. Paint your shelves in a different colour to your walls to provide a neat contrast.
